Multiple OS in VPS Servers
We offer as many as 3 different Linux releases for the Operating System of our VPS servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are some of the most stable and reliable OSs available on the market and we supply all 3 rather than just one as we realize that you may want to set up some software with specific requirements regarding the Operating System it'll run on. The latter is because each of the three Operating Systems has a vast support community behind it and there're various software applications you could install on the web server. Your OS selection will also determine what hosting Control Panel can be set up on the VPS in case you wish to use one and for that reason we offer multiple Control Panels as well. In the event you decide that you need to have another OS, our tech support team can quickly wipe the existing one and set up the one that you'd like. In addition, we offer an optional service to keep the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server solutions - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're 100 % free so they won't increase the cost of your new web server, but also because they are really secure and stable. Each of them is supported by a large community of developers, so you'll be able to choose from thousands of software packages that you may install on your server in case the application that you would like to use has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what web hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on particular OSs only and because we want to provide you with as much adaptability as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you choose a server with a given Operating System, we will change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you will need alternative one. We could also keep your OS updated weekly as a part of our additional Managed Services upgrade.
